Effective June 15, 2005 no more visas are required for the citizens of the USA, Canada, Japan, Israel, Switzerland and Countries of the European Union to travel to Georgia for up to 90 Days.

Requirements for Obtaining Georgian Visa

1.   Completed Visa Application Form obtainable from either the Consular Office of the Georgian Embassy or online. Photocopies of application forms are acceptable. To print and fill out the application form click HERE.

2.   Applicant's valid Passport (not a photocopy).

3.   One passport-size color Photo.

4.   A Money Order or Certified Check payable to the Consulate Office of the Embassy of Georgia (no cash or personal checks are accepted).

Those applying by mail should include prepaid express mail self-addressed envelope - e.g. FedEx, UPS, etc.

Important: In order to insure that your visa is processed without delay, please have the name of the inviting individual or organization clearly written as well as the exact dates and purpose of your visit. All forms must be typed or printed in ink.

IMPORTANT: Foreign citizens can also get single entry-exite visas (duration of stay up to 1 month) for $10 upon arrival in Georgian airports (Tbilisi, Batumi).
